What You Do Today to Manage POTS—or Don’t Do—Can Impact You Tomorrow or Even Days Later
POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome) doesn’t always give instant feedback—sometimes the effects show up a day or two later.
You might hydrate like a champ today and still feel awful…because you didn’t get enough yesterday or earlier in the week. This is just one example.
POTS is sneaky like this. The delayed effects can make POTS feel unpredictable, but it’s often not as random as it seems. Once you start recognizing the pattern, it’s possible to regain some control.
Planning ahead and sticking to your routine can make a huge difference when managing POTS. It’s not easy, but it is possible. It’s all about playing the long game with your body.
POTS doesn’t always play fair—but knowing its tricks can help you stay one step ahead.
P.S. I’ve never met anyone who can manage their POTS “perfectly” every day…so please don’t be hard on yourself.
